(Rochester, NY)...Wednesday, April 14th, the Rochester RazorSharks play the Puerto Rico Capitanes for Game 1 of the PBL Playoffs, tip-off is set for 8:00pm. The 'Sharks will be staying in Puerto Rico after defeating them on last Sunday night, 115-104. Glen Dandridge scored 21 of his 24 points in the 1st quarter. Elias Ayuso led the Capitanes with 34 points.
Rochester's Keith Friel is the PBL's 14th leading scorer with 17.1 points per game. Jerice Crouch is 5th in assists with 5.7 per game and 10th in steals with 1.6 per game. Marlin Johnson leads the league in steals with 2.7 per game and is also 8th in rebounds with 8.3 per game. For Puerto Rico, Elias Ayuso leads the team with 23.2 points per game. Angelo Reyes (18.4ppg) and David Cortes (18.1 ppg) are also top players for the Capitanes.
The 1st round of the playoffs will be a best out of three series. Rochester is the 2nd seed, while the Capitanes (14-4) is the 3rd. The RazorSharks (16-4) will have home court advantage for the the 1st round series. Game 2 will be played at the Blue Cross Arena and is scheduled for 2:00pm on Sunday, April 18th. If necessary, Game 3 will stay in Rochester and be take place on Monday, April 19th at 7:00pm.
Tickets for Game 2 will go on sale Thursday, April 15th at 10:00am. They will be available for purchase at the Blue Cross Arena Box Office and online at www.ticketmaster.com. All season ticket seat locations will be on hold for season ticket holders for purchase until Friday at 1:00pm. After that time, all unsold seat locations will become available to the public.
